Hi Keith! I have over 10 years experience in sales, however it was not door-to-door. The appointments were pre-set and pre-qualified by telemarketers. Nevertheless I earned several awards and won national contests because I was able to go the extra mile. My burning desire for several years was to build a team of reps who could consently sell like me, unfortunately this was not to be. Eventually I discovered that our clients resented their payments for a product they were not using. They felt pressured and “talked into” an emotional decision. So I had the highest cancelation rate as well as the highest closing ratio! If there were such a thing as an honest product pitched straight to prospects that actually want and would use it—great! And if leads were generated by an outside source so all you’d have to do is meet and represent—wow! It seems that one must always keep one eye closed to compromise and one ear deaf to truth; or else forget about selling anything to anybody (unless retail of course!)…Have you heard the definition of “Customer Care”: If we really cared about the customer we’d send them somewhere better! See Resume below. Sincerely, Khayyam Modirzadeh (704)819-5988.
